Early summer in Oahu and The Big Island did not disappoint. Weather was stellar, perfect water temp and lapping waves to cool bare feet. Delicious,fresh sushi fed the soul after 15 miles of walking
That sky and water. Walked along this beach into Waikiki.
This was an alley of long boards, all locked up with two real estate padlocks each. One with the key to the othe lock.

Banyan trees abound in Pacific islands. Their beauty is only eclipsed by their height and size.
Suddenly a whiff of jasmine wafted over me. This was a huge fence full of this climbing vine. Intoxicating.
The Chefs at Furusato Sushi are pros who treat the ingredients with dignity.
The lunch special at Furusato Sushi was perfect for a day walking along the beach. Fresh ingredients served well.
Special uni left me speechless - it was SO fresh.
